The Sugar Land Training Center is a new shared facility for police and fire training, located on the city's public safety training campus. It features a state-of-the-art, two-story indoor reality simulation space designed for tactical law enforcement training, where officers and cadets can safely engage with Simunition rounds. The facility includes movable wall systems along with controls for lighting, sound, and smoke effects to enhance training scenarios. Additionally, classroom and office spaces are provided, and the design accommodates a Bearcat vehicle for training purposes. This facility serves the Sugar Land community, enhancing public safety training for local law enforcement and fire departments.
