In Manor, the Travis County ESD 2 Ron G. Moellenberg Fire Training Center pairs classroom and CPAT space with a masonry burn village of apartment, single-family, and strip-mall scenario buildings built to mirror the district's own streetscape. Field props for extrication, driving, and trench and confined-space rescue round out the campus, which has already drawn use from multiple regional emergency response and law enforcement agencies since opening.
